Palapa Restaurant, Tamarindo

Bryan had our table of 18 set close to the beach and right in front of the fire show. Don’t miss this place when in the area. Food was wonderful and plentiful for the price. Service exceeded expectations and none of the 18 were disappointed or had an issue with their meal.

We didn’t see this restaurant at first glance when looking for a place to go for a night out, but it was a suggesting from our driver and it was a great choice. The views were wonderful, the food was great, and the service was fantastic. The icing on top was that we also got to see a fire show on the beach after sunset and dinner. 10/10 would recommend!

My best friend and I stumbled across this place by accident. We werent planning to eat but are glad we did!This was one of the BEST meals Ive ever eaten. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster cooked perfectly and the potatos and vegetables were creamy and delicious.The servers were great and respectful of us just enjoying the ocean views. It was perfect.So happy we came across this treasure!Pura Vida!

Sorry but this spot is 5 stars hand down.Food is absolutely amazing - they prepare it on the beach in a tiny kitchen and the results are unbelievable.Service is amazing - nicest people at a restaurant you can possibly hope for.Atmosphere - we had dinner on the beach with 14 people, feet in the sand, and then they had fire dancers perform on Easter Sunday for us. Unforgettable. I’ve dined at many very nice places and this is the best combination of quality food and atmosphere you can imagine.3.9 stars these people are fools. Ignore.

Such great food, we ate there multiple days and everything was delicious! Surf and surf, surf and turf, ribeye, the lunch and breakfast items were also fantastic! Drinks were delicious and refreshing - happy hour all day!!! Atmosphere is the best! Beach views at sunset, the best! The Fire show, nightly if the weather is good, was amazing! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming! Jose, our waiter was great, suggesting food and drinks to try, providing great service with a great personality! If you are in Tamarindo, you should absolutely eat here!

Food was absolutely incredible. The service was decent. The fire show that starts around 6/630 is great entertainment.Expect to pay anywhere from 70 000-90 000colones per person.

We came here for my birthday and Oscar was our server literally catered to us! He recommended the lobster/red snapper special, brought us birthday shots and made sure we were well taken care of. The sunset was so beautiful too. They had live music playing that was beautiful. It just set the mood for the whole night.

Food was good got the tropical salad, with shrimp light and healthy. We also got a few beverages, and those were amazing especially with the 2-for-1 specials they had going . Also good views right in the ocean
